What is a Vector Graphic?

The elements of the picture are essentially determined by mathematical vectors. Each and every element of a drawing is built up by lines and curves. A geometrical figure is built up by several straight lines. E.g: square, rectangle, circle, etc.

Vector graphic design has many advantages and disadvantages.

  • The vector picture can be enlarged and reduced to any sizes unlimited without deterioration.

  • The vector pictures are much smaller in size than pixelgraphic pictures comparable with them.

  • Since all objects are described with well-marked outlines, depicting indistinct or uncertain edged objects is not possible.

  • It is not possible to use different photo technique tricks in case of vector format ( e.g. fading, sharpening, etc. )

Areas of primary use:

  • logo design,

  • business design

  • decoration design,

  • screen printing,

  • embroidery,

  • preparation of car- and other foil-based decoration

  • designing large textual themes, etc..

Vector graphically designed/planned materials are suitable for foil-cut, vinyl-cutting, screen printing, tampon-printing, engraving, form-lacquer, flock-flex cutting, cutting template, and cuttable materials widespread use.
